About the Artist

Strong commercial art/graphic design background with creative conceptual drawing abilities utilizing the latest technical software. Well-versed in the digital graphics environment from art production and prepress checks to the logistics of delivery. Capable of working in a cross platform setting throughout the entire production process while managing deadlines for projects simultaneously.

A 1996 graduate of Sam Houston State University with over twelve years experience in the design field, Octavio has assisted many clients in developing and growing their business through marketing and advertising.

Octavio's Art-e analyzes, and creates visual solutions to communications problems. We decide the most effective way of getting a message across in print, electronic, and film media using a variety of methods such as color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques. Octavio's Art-e develops the overall layout and production design of magazines, newspapers, journals, corporate reports, and other publications. We also produce promotional displays, packaging, and marketing brochures for products and services, design distinctive logos for products and businesses, and develop signs and signage systemsócalled environmental graphicsófor business and government.

With each project we determine the needs of the client, the message the design should portray, and its appeal to customers or users. Octavio's Art-e considers cognitive, cultural, physical, and social factors in planning and executing designs for the target audience.
